We are honored to share that Sungold Kitchen was recently featured by The Fairfax Girl in an article highlighting our mission to bring nourishing, chef-prepared meals to busy families and professionals throughout Northern Virginia.
The feature shares the story behind Sungold Kitchen, from Chef Victoria Cortes’ early experiences studying in France and working at National Geographic Channel to building a business focused on helping people eat well without the stress of planning, shopping, or cooking.
A Journey Fueled by Food and Wellness
What began as a passion for cooking and global cuisine eventually evolved into a career as a private chef. Over the years, Victoria noticed more and more clients seeking meals that supported specific health goals and dietary needs. This sparked a deeper commitment to creating food that is both delicious and nourishing.
After years of cooking in clients’ homes, Victoria expanded into a commercial kitchen in Arlington, allowing Sungold Kitchen to serve more families while maintaining the same small-batch, personalized approach that clients had come to trust.
